Family, faith and God have set the foundation for the journey. Pastor Briscoe received and accepted the call to live for Christ at a young age at Parkview Baptist Church in Landover, Maryland. Walking in ordered steps committing the word of the Lord in heart, “Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart (2 Corinthians 3).” The journey of service led to dynamic worship centers operating in choir, ushering, praise team, outreach, and Sunday school superintendent. Commissioned in late adulthood to serve in ministering the gospel at The Tabernacle Triumphant Church in Laurel, Maryland.
The scripture that defines Pastor Briscoe' ministry is found in Romans 12:1-2 “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
